Site of the first Seventh-day Adventist Camp Meeting

This is the site of the first Seventh-day Adventist Camp meeting September 1-7, 1868. The church was formed in 1859 from Sabbath keeping Adventist and antedates the denomination by some four years. Our prayer is that the Spirit of the pioneers will never be absent from this place until Christ returns in Glory.
